Dachshund Races will also continue to be held once a month all year long, March 15th, April 19th, May 31st, June 28th, July 12th , August 23rd November 15th & December 6th except during Oktoberfest when the ALL BREEDS under 25lbs race Sept. 13,20,27 on Sundays & “Running of the Wieners’ is every Sunday during October 4, 11, 18,25 and ends on Nov. 1st. Brazilian Carnival – Mardi Gras Celebration

An added bonus, Sunday February 16th Old World will be holding its 20th anniversary Brazilian Carnival Mardi Gras Matinee from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased online at www.BrazilianNites.com. This family-friendly event features DJ Gus, Kizambo Brass Band with traditional Carnaval music, Drum Circle by Samba da Mudança Samba School, LA Samba Dancers and kid’s activities organized by Brazilian Play & Learn, specialized in teaching Portuguese and the Brazilian culture to kids and teens by using storytelling, traditional games, dance, songs, and arts and crafts. Costumes are encouraged. Matinee Brazilian Carnaval is presented by Brazilian Nites Productions. Parking is FREE.
