The Latin GRAMMY Awards finally returns to Miami after 21 years, on November 14 at the Kaseya Center (the 2020 ceremony took place in Miami, but without an audience due to the pandemic). As the headquarters of the Latin Recording Academy (LARAS) all the major Latin record labels, and considered the “capital of Latin America”, Miami will become the epicenter of the music world starting on November 10, when the official events calendar begins. On this day, the special awards (Lifetime Achievement) will be presented, and Brazilian icon Lulu Santos is among the honorees. Also on November 10, META will present Brazil Week #LatinGRAMMY, a special party at ZeyZey to welcome Brazilian nominees to Miami and celebrate Lulu Santos, winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award, who will be present along with other artists. There will be performances by the big band Gafieira Rio Miami, special guests Miamibloco, DJs João Brasil, Marcello Bentine and several surprise appearances. With so many artists in town, there will certainly be some very special moments on stage.
This event is produced by Brazilian Nites and Samba Sunday with support from META, Popline, Lupa, Portal Sucesso, Mundo da Musica and Corredor 5.
ZeyZey is located at 353 NE 61st St, Miami 33137. Doors at 7pm with happy hour until 9pm. Tickets start at $25 (GA), $100 (VIP) and $600 (table for 6 people) at ZeyZeyMiami.com
