In 2014, 20th Century Fox’s hired the services of Brazilian Nites for Rio 2 film’s world premiere at Miami’s iconic Fontainebleau Hotel. Led by Patricia Leão, Brazilian Nites was responsible to produce a groundbreaking premiere ceremony, and a concert from the likes of Janelle Monae, Sergio Mendes and Carlinhos Brown. Guests also witnessed the studio break the record for the largest samba dance: an historic 256 dancers came together to establish the record at the Guinness Book.

Our company was also responsible for the movie’s campaign activation in Los Angeles, producing an innovative live billboard over the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Sherbourn Drive – an area that thousands of cars whiz by all day. The colorful spectacle involved 80 samba dancers in full costume rotating on the billboard throughout the day.
